Jicama Combo! Combine cubed jicama, a sliced cucumber, and orange sections. Sprinkle with chili powder and salt. Drizzle with juice of ½ lemon and mix well.

Saute It! Saute cubes of jicama in a small amount of olive oil until browned. Add 1 small sliced onion, ½ red pepper cut into strips. Cook until onion is translucent and add a ¼ cup water or broth. Cook until jicama is tender.

Roasted Jicama? You bet! Peel a jicama and cut into cubes. Toss cubes with 1 small chopped onion, a small amount of olive oil, ½ teaspoon minced garlic, rosemary and parsley. Spread on a baking pan and roast in a 400 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Jicama Relish. At your next barbecue, serve Jicama Relish for the burgers and hot dogs.
Jicama Chips. Peel jicama and thinly slice. Arrange on a plate and squeeze with juice of ½ lime. Sprinkle lightly with salt, sugar and chili powder. Chill for 20 minutes and serve.
Jicama Slaw. Add julienned jicama to your coleslaw, or make a Jicama Slaw.
Crudités Surprise. Add jicama slices to your crudités tray.
