Frozen Holiday Mint Mango Margarita (with mocktail option)

Who says margaritas are only a summertime delight? This perfect pairing of mango, mint and lime is sure to have your taste buds and guests craving more! There's even a mocktail option for the kiddos to join in on the celebrations this holiday!

Instructions

Simple Syrup:

  1. Create simple syrup by adding simple syrup ingredients to a small saucepan
  2. Heat over medium and stir until sugar has dissolved
  3. Remove from heat and let cool in refrigerator or freezer until you’re ready to add to your Margarita
  4. In a bullet size blender, pulse the simple syrup mixture. Alternatively, you can strain the mint out of the syrup
  5. To a larger blender add mango, tequila or water, orange liqueur or orange juice, and simple syrup. Squeeze the juice out of 1.5 limes, reserving several slices
  6. Blend until smooth
  7. Optional: mix chili powder and salt. Run a lime wedge along half of the rim of your margarita glasses before dipping in the mixture
  8. Pour the mixture into your margarita glasses
  9. Garnish with pomegranate arils and mint.
