Pears in Orange Sauce

Perfect for the holidays, this festive pear dish has only 120 calories. Great as a side or dessert, spice things up with a touch of nutmeg or cinnamon.

Instructions

  1. Peel the pears and steam in a double boiler 15 minutes.
  2. Mix sugar and orange juice and cook over low flame for 5 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Place steamed pears on individual plates. Pour ¼ juice mixture over each pear and serve.
