This budget-friendly recipe feeds five people for just under $25!
Instructions
- Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
- While pasta is cooking, cook sausage as directed.
- While the sausage is cooking, cut up your veggies. Cut up the tomatoes and basil separately and set aside.
- Once cooked, take the sausage out of pan cut into ¼ inch slices and set aside.
- Add oil to the pan and saute the squash, onions, and red peppers for 2-3 minutes, then add broth.
- Once the broth is boiling turn to low and add tomatoes and basil stir and add sausage and pasta stir. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once finished, divide pasta among plates. We topped our with cheese and ate our meal with broccoli and some bread. Enjoy!
