From Guidance to Action: What’s New in the DGAs, What’s Challenging & Strategies for Promoting Produce
The 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans reaffirm the importance of fruits and vegetables, but many nutrition professionals are still navigating how to interpret and apply the new guidance in real-world settings.
In this webinar, speakers will share insights from a recent survey of health and wellness professionals, highlighting what’s new in the Guidelines, where confusion remains, and what support is most needed to put the guidance into practice. Following this overview, a moderated panel discussion will explore how these themes show up across different practice settings – from retail and public health to the conversations taking place on social media every day.
Participants will gain practical strategies and communication approaches to translate the Guidelines into achievable, affordable, everyday ways for consumers to eat more fruits and vegetables across eating occasions.
