Ensuring Kids Thrive: Produce from Pregnancy to Preteen
The Foundation for Fresh Produce envisions a world where lifelong fruit and vegetable consumption leads to longer, healthier lives—beginning before birth and continuing into old age. Early nutrition, especially from prenatal stages through childhood, lays the groundwork, yet many families face barriers such as limited access, uncertainty around early exposure, and food allergy concerns.
This webinar brings together experts to share evidence-based strategies, highlight emerging research, and showcase scalable programs that address these challenges. We’ll examine how health professionals can help close the produce consumption gap through improved access, education, and appeal—advancing equity and public health outcomes.
Attendees will also learn about the Foundation’s new Theory of Change, its Produce in the Public Interest framework, and the launch of the Child Nutrition Education Network—an initiative to mobilize a national movement ensuring every child thrives through the power of produce.
