How many grapes are you allowed to eat every day?
Based on MyPlate, fruit serving sizes are measured by 1 cup. In general, the following counts as 1 cup from the Fruit Group:
- 1 cup of fresh, frozen or canned fruit
- ½ cup of dried fruit
- 1 cup of 100% fruit juice
One serving of grapes is 1 cup (whole or cut up) and there are about 22 grapes in 1 cup.
It is not unusual for people to consume more than one serving of a particular fruit or vegetable at one time or in one day. Your fruit needs depend on your age, sex, height, weight, and physical activity. This amount can also depend on whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consuming a variety of different fruits and vegetables each day is always encouraged, but it wouldn’t be unreasonable to consume a cup or more of grapes.
