Sautéed Turnips w/Spinach and Raisins

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 medium turnips, peeled and cut into matchsticks
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 10 oz spinach, coarsely chopped
  • Freshly ground nutmeg
In a pan, heat the oil and garlic. Add the turnips and raisins and cook for about one minute. Add the lemon juice and cover. Cook for 3 more minutes. Stir in spinach and cook until just wilted. Sprinkle with nutmeg to taste. Serve.
