Sweet & Savory Frozen Grapes

Prep Time: 15 mins
Looking for a snack to cool down with? Try a batch of these sweet and savory frozen grapes. Stick with the sugar-coated grapes to satisfy your sweet tooth or get adventurous with the savory Tajin seasoned bunch.

  1. Place the grapes into a large bowl. Juice the limes into the bowl. Stir to combine. Let soak in the lime juice for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Place half of the grapes into a separate bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Toss to combine. Spread the grapes out evenly onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
  3. Take the other half of the grapes, add to the separate bowl just used. Add remaining 1 tablespoon of sugar and the 1 tablespoon of Tajin seasoning. Toss to combine. Spread grapes out evenly on to the remaining half of the parchment lined baking sheet.
  4. Put the baking sheet into the freezer for 2-3 hours. Once completely frozen, the grapes can be transferred into an airtight container for storage. Store in the freezer and take out when ready to enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

You want to transfer the grapes after they soaked in the lime juice to a different bowl before coating in the sugar and sugar-Tajin mixture so it doesn’t completely dissolve.

When enjoying – either keep each half of the batch separate for those who have a sweet tooth versus want the savory option; or combine together for a true sweet & savory combo experience!
