What is the daily recommendation for fruits and vegetables?


 According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, filling half your plate with fruits and vegetables will help you consume the daily recommendation of approximately 4 to 6 cups/day based on your activity level and gender.

Eat a variety of different colored fruits and vegetables to give your body the vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants it needs. Keep in mind all forms matter, fresh, frozen, canned, dried, and 100% juice.
