Preparation Time: 20 minutes
  • 3 Tbsp rolled oats
  • 6 Tbsp water
  • 1 medium apple
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp raisins
  • 1 Tbsp mixed nuts, chopped
  • 7 Tbsp milk, low-fat
  • 2 tsp honey
At night, before you go to bed, put the rolled oats into a large bowl and pour the water on top. In the morning, peel the apple, cut it in half and then grate it. Add it to the bowl and then stir in the lemon juice. Gently stir the apple, raisins, and nuts into the softened oats. Pour a small amount of milk on top of the oats and then drizzle with honey and top with the remaining milk. Serve.
