- Place fruit in a mason jar. Add sugar to fruit and let sit about 15 minutes before muddling the fruit with a muddling tool to expel juices.
- Stir in vinegar. Cover and let steep in the fridge for 3 days. Strain out solids and keep in a jar. Store in the fridge until ready to use. Blackberry shrub syrup keeps in the fridge for about a month.
- To serve, drink 1-2 tablespoons or add to a glass of ice with vodka, sparkling water, and garnish with fresh blackberries.
