Did you know that people who learn a new fruit and veggie hack are more likely to Have A Plant® more often? One of my go-to blueberry hacks is taking frozen blueberries and defrosting them. I recommend waiting to rinse your blueberries until you take them out of the freezer to use. However, if you do rinse before freezing, be sure to dry them well with a paper towel. Once the blueberries have defrosted, I mix the liquid that results from defrosting with some apple cider vinegar for an amazing dressing for my salads with blueberries as the star on top. Here’s another fun hack. Find yourself with a freezer and fridge full of blueberries? Make your own blueberry jam or preserves to spread a boost of blue. You can enjoy right away or follow the instructions of your favorite recipe for where and how long to store your homemade treats. Here’s one of my favorite recipes.
