Can bananas be frozen?

Freezing bananas is a great way to save them. To freeze, remove peel and cut to desired size or leave whole. Place banana pieces on a sheet of parchment paper on top of a cookie sheet and then place in freezer. Once bananas are frozen they can be stored in an air tight container or freezer bag and they won’t be stuck together in one big clump.
