Kids Garden

In order to promote vegies to our little ones, we grow a vegetable garden and have them help.
We teach them by having them work side-by-side with us in the garden.
We explain how to fix the soil, how to plant the seeds, watering, feeding and sunshine.
Then we teach them about weeds and how those are in competition for food for each of the plants – if we want good, strong healthy plants, then we must care for them. In the beginning we allow them to choose the seeds they want to plant, and then work with the children in the garden until harvest time.
That is when we let the children harvest and then taste what they have planted & grown.
