Sliced Melon Salad with Spicy Lime Dressing

On a serving platter, layer the spinach and the cantaloupe slices. Top with red onion slices.
In a small bowl, stir together the lime juice, hot sauce (depending on your preferred level of heat), and the sugar. Pour the dressing over the salad and serve.
