Panned Cabbage

Try pairing this cabbage side dish with roasted pork.

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
  2. Add cabbage and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add water.
  3. Cover pan with tight-fitting lid to hold in steam.
  4. Cook over low heat until cabbage is tender (about 6-8 minutes). Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
