From picnics to poolside, homemade trail mix is always a smart choice for a summertime snack! The key to making an energy-boosting mix is to use nutritious fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds.

Here are some ingredients to consider using in your trail mix:

  • Dehydrated berries (strawberries, blueberries etc.)
  • Pistachios (shelled)
  • Dehydrated mango
  • Pecans
  • Banana chips
  • Raw almonds
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes
  • Green pea crisps
  • Apple chips
  • Dried cherries
